NAME - The organization will be known as the Stateline World Trade Association (SLWTA) until the Board so determines another name.

An association's mission is to provide a means whereby professional people who are knowledgeable and involved in international trade can:

• promote effective export and trade management
• educate members about international trade issues and practices
• advocate and support legislation that benefits international trade activities
• promote a favorable United States balance of trade through export development
• promote the economic benefits to the region from firms engaged in international trade
• involve world trade students from area colleges and universities in association activities
• to provide practical resources for the effective expansion of international business for its members
